While you aptly, and interesting make certain correlations of the ideals of Slavophiles and ideals of Narodniks you needed to make clear that the Narodniks can be described as the spiritual precursors to the October Revolution. While the Slavophiles supported the cult of the Tsar as an embodiment of the Rus nation the Narodniks saw the Tsar as the main stumbling block to progress and and the end of backwardness through the establishment of local, popular government, etc. My Russian friend here in the U.S. (Sacramento) tells me that while "populists" may be an OK translation of "Narodnik" meaning-wise for English speakers, the "Narod" literally means the "people of the soil" ie: peasants; agrarians; "those closest to the land are closest to Russia"--an ideal seen also by the last (also German) Tsarina as its "embodiment" in the unsavory, infamous "monk," Grigori Rasputin.

Vyborg history.In your websites you told that Vyborg is an old Russian city. The truth is that the Vyborg was part of the Finland until 1944, Vyborg was the second biggest town in Finland. Stalin and red army plundered Vyborg From Finland in summer 1944. Russia attack against the small Finland and took the city of Vyborg, and much of the country. Finnish people are still very bitter about this, and therefore the most of finnish are not a real friends of Russia. Why Russian history can not write the truth ?
